The Adventure Begins

My name is Kelsey Jane Clark, and I am about to embark on a great adventure. As a journalism and business student, I am preparing to enter my senior year at the University of Southern California. But before hitting the books I am hopping on a flight to New York City, where I will work as a publishing intern for a literary agency. I am eager to learn more about book publishing, writing and editorial work. Equally alluring is the opportunity to spend eight glorious weeks in the city, where I am sure to learn a great deal about subways, manuscript submissions, and most importantly - myself. I leave for New York in just 11 days, and I invite you to accompany me on this journey. I will be writing about my experiences, both in and out of the office, on this blog and I look forward to keeping in touch with friends and family.
